Meeting your needs is our top priority.
Deciding to seek outside support for anything can be difficult because you must admit something isn’t right.
You may have known you needed help for a long time, or it may be a new thought. Either way, taking this step to read about our practice is enormous. You are exploring your options and searching for new solutions, and you can be very proud of yourself for that.
For many, this journey begins with many emotions and fears of the unknown.
“What is therapy? What is it like to tell someone I don’t know about my deepest pain? Will it even work for me?”
We know what it feels like to be on this threshold and what it feels like to emerge on the other side.
This is why we prioritize meeting you where you are, answering all your questions (none are stupid, by the way), and showing you the empathy and respect you deserve as you reach out to begin your journey into the unknown. You will not feel alone with us.
Our goal is to cultivate positive growth in you.
We approach work with our clients as farmers approach a field. We seek to understand the state of things. How is the soil? What is the climate? Is it harsh, nurturing, or temperate? What is the history of this land? What future is in the story?
Your nervous system is like a farmer’s field or a planter’s garden. The soil can lose vitality and hardiness without the proper nurturing, support, knowledge, and action. As a result, the growth suffers.
You see the symptoms of this in your life. Anxiety, depression, broken relationships, overwhelm, endless cycles of the same thoughts and feelings that never seem to change. It can feel impossible to know where to begin.
We would love to walk the journey with you.
We know the process and know it well. Our team consists of real people who have experienced real hurt, too.
The core mission of the therapists at Cultivating Changes, LLC is to foster a space where no one walks their healing journey alone. Facing your hurt is hard enough; let us hold the space for you while you do it.
Each therapist here has dedicated considerable time to their education and training around various specialized approaches to working through emotional pain. We’ve got you covered whether you’re an internal, external, brain, or body-based processor. We’ve still got you if you do not know what that means. We will join you with the tools if you’re ready to begin digging in.
